Professional Counselling services for those receiving social assistance

The City of Peterborough is funding a one-year pilot to fund professional counselling services at CCRC for those in our community who receive Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program support.

Professional Counselling is often a pathway to being able to cope and move past difficulties, but it can be inaccessible to people who face financial hardship or lengthy waitlists for funded services.

“CCRC is thrilled to be able to offer this service to any OW or ODSP recipient living in Peterborough City or County.” Kirsten Armbrust – Executive Director.

Clients can self-refer or can be referred by their caseworker. Please call our professional counselling intake line 800-274-1611 ext 308 for more information or to book an appointment.
