Is it hard to talk to your landlord?

Housing Mediation

Conflicts between roommates, neighbours, and tenants and landlords are leading causes of housing loss. Housing Mediation may be a way out of those conflicts so that people can keep their housing. Housing Mediation is a service provided by CCRC’s Housing Resource Centre in partnership with John Howard Society of Peterborough.

Housing Mediation is voluntary and involves:

  • A conversation with us so we can understand your situation
  • Assistance from our staff or volunteers to help facilitate a conversation
  • Conflict coaching – for tenants to find better ways to deal with future conflict

CCRC will be closed all day on Tuesday, September 30th for the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

CCRC will be closed at noon on December 24 - January 1st, 2025. We'll reopen January 2nd for regular hours.

Due to the region declaring a significant weather event - CCRC will be closed for in person service on Thursday February 13.

CCRC will be closed at 3 pm on Friday, August 29 and all day Monday, Sept 1 for the Labour Day Weekend
