Donations and Grants help fill funding gaps, and allow CCRC to continue to provide a wide range of services to those living in Peterborough City and County. We are truly grateful to the funders, foundations and donors who make it possible for us to continue to provide life changing services to those in our community.
Unless otherwise specified, donations are used where they are needed most. Our funding comes from multiple sources, and is often for specific services. While this allows us to operate, it also means that there are gaps and in some cases, wait-lists for services.
General, unrestricted donations are used in programs or service delivery where they are needed most. They are used to cover the costs of operating the organization and delivering services.
Restricted donations are those used for specific programs or services, like our Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF). This fund helps people pay for incidental items, like last months rent, or to fill an oil tank for a senior in the county. Each person needing EAF funds, would need only to contact our Housing Resource Centre team to determine eligibility.
COVID-19 presents many challenges for people in our community and around the world. Many of these challenges relate to job losses, financial uncertainty, housing concerns, feelings of isolation, anxiety, grief and concerns about relationships and loved ones. We can help. Our multi-service delivery means that we have all of the tools needed to help those in our community deal with the fallout from this pandemic. We’ve been here for over 60 years, and we will continue to be here, but we do need your help.
We need donations to fill those gaps so we can continue to provide life-changing services to the people living in Peterborough City and County. Donations can be made by clicking on the ‘donate today’ button at the top of this screen. Thank you so much for your support. `
