Work-Life Balance: Employee Assistance Program |
Balancing the demands of work and home can take its toll, resulting in stress, depression, low productivity at work and family problems at home. At some point in our lives we all face problems. Usually we can cope with them, or solve the problems ourselves. However, at times, a problem becomes too difficult for us to manage on our own. We may need assistance, advice, or just someone to listen. With enormous benefits to both employees and employers, many workplaces offer these services to their employees as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in their benefit packages.
Community Counselling and Resource Centre offers EAP services through the Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP). This is a national network of service agencies in Canada, working through community-based counselling services such as our agency. It is confidential counselling service, designed to provide direct access to experienced professionals who will help you resolve your problems - before they affect your health, family life, or job performance.
Assistance is available for a broad range of areas, including personal and relationship issues, separation and loss, bereavement, balancing work and family, family violence, credit counselling, wellness seminars, crisis intervention, and organizational consultation. After-hours emergency services are offered as well.

CCRC Announces Successful Completion of Accreditation
 |
CCRC is delighted to announce that we have successfully completed accreditation from Family Service Ontario and the Ontario Association of Credit Counselling Services. This involved a thorough assessment of our operations and services by a panel of experts in the fields of counselling and credit counselling services.
Commitment to clients and commitment to community are values that are held strongly by CCRC . The review process was challenging, and we are pleased to not only have passed, but to have received a score of 94% on average for all components of the review. Thank you to everyone in this review!
